Challenge

To design and deliver an immersive launch experience in London to celebrate the highly anticipated return of the Netflix series ‘YOU’, that would transport 227 invited journalists and creators into Joe’s twisted, and now very British world.

We hit Netflix’s podium for social reach performance after Bridgerton and The Crown S5.

Solution

We kicked things off with an exclusive experience for creators and superfans with a screening of episode six at BAFTA followed by a cast Q&A, which was live streamed on TikTok. 

Guests were then escorted next door to the fictional ‘Sundry House’ members club, the very place Joe frequents in season four, for a carefully curated cinematic experience designed to drive UGC and social engagement.

We immersed guests by replicating the exclusive and elite members club feel featured in the series, playing ‘YOU’ sound bites in the bathrooms, creating a photo moment whereby guests could dress up as iconic ‘YOU’ characters, and had a fashion illustrator capturing attendees in the style of the show, creating the perfect memento to take home.

The Q&A live stream was watched by over 75,000 viewers, making it one of TikTok’s highest performing lives of 2023.
